					Comfortable stay and very professional hosts. Location convenient for transportation. Vivian notes that this room can be a bit on the loud side, and that is accurate (street traffic until fairly late, patrons from the restaurants and bars on the street, noise from all the other guests in the building going up and down the stairs and stopping in front of the door to change shoes). We didn’t mind it, but if you are a light sleeper, ear plugs are also helpfully provided.

					From making our reservation to checking in and out Vivian was an outstanding host. We really enjoyed staying in her traditional style Japanese home. We highly recommend for your stay in Tokyo!

					Highly recommend staying here! The place was in a great location, easy to find and close to the train station, restaurants and convenient stores.

Vivian and her team were always quick to respond and very helpful throughout the whole stay.

I'll be recommending this place to friends and family in the future and I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back to Japan!

					Wonderful location that feels a bit more local than staying at a big brand hotel. Nearby Akasaka has tons of food. Also the place itself is cozy and comfortable. We had an amazing stay.

					Very clean and comfortable apartment.    Not huge (this is Tokyo after all) but it was plenty spacious enough for our family of four and a lot of luggage. Host was helpful and responsive to any queries we had.  Also there to meet us for a later check in the evening, even after an hour flight delay. Definitely recommend.

					Vivian’s place is in a great location—right off of a main thoroughfare, but just off of the main thoroughfare enough where it isn’t loud or busy. It’s very traditional, so expect a contemporary Japanese experience, which we loved. 

The surrounding Akasaka area has a ton to offer, so it’s a great location to stage your Tokyo trip from, both local and afar. Do not miss Bar Maturus.

My only complaint about the apartment is that it has a lingering smell that lasted throughout most of our stay. It’s almost a restaurant exhaust smell, which would make sense, as the ground level of the building is a restaurant. We got used to it after a few days, but it clung to our clothes and made us feel like we needed to do laundry more often than normal. Luckily there were machines in the building.

					My partner and I were travelling to Tokyo and stayed at Vivian’s (2F apartment) and found it was perfect for the both of us! 

Bed was a good size for 2 people to share (this can be tricky to find at airbnbs in Tokyo). The place also had two seperate toilets and a great shower that worked for our heights (we are 5 ft 9/6ft in height.

Location was great too with 7/11 and Lawson just a walk up or down the street. Also close to two metro stations too, so very easy and direct to get to most places (including shibuya!). 

Special mention to Calvin who stayed up past midnight to meet us at the apartment after our flight was delayed by more than 5 hours!! This wasn’t expected, but very appreciated to have someone great us when we arrived. We communicated with Vivian/Calvin about the delay too, and they were very responsive and accomodating.

Highly recommend this apartment and Vivian for short or long stays in Tokyo!

					Fuss free check in experience. Apartment is clean and spacious for a family of 4. Close to Akasaka station and there is a convenience store near the apartment. A great place to stay and ear plugs are also provided for light sleepers. Water pressure is great and toilets are also equipped with bidet functions. Only downside is that there is only one sink to do the dishes and brush your teeth.

The spacious apartment is about 50 square meter in space, a rare-find in center Tokyo. It’s designed to provide bold and modern Japanese-style experience for international guests who need a cozy & modern home in center Tokyo.

The entire apartment is on the 2nd floor, filled with natural light and classy Japanese touches. It has 2 major space: one is a western-style simple cooking & dining area with dark wooden floor. The other one is a mix bedroom and living area with wooden floor and black-and-white tatami floor, expressing strong character in color & texture.

The shower room and 2 toilets have flooring made of tatami for relaxing home feel, plus a seat and a rainshower in the bathroom for nice relaxation.

The apartment, with a 50 square meter space, is a rare-find in center Tokyo. It’s designed to provide modern Japanese-style experience for international guests who need a cozy & modern home in center Tokyo.

The entire apartment is on the 3rd floor, filled with natural light & modern Japanese touches. It has 2 big space: one is with western-style wooden floor kitchen & dining area, and the other one is with an elegantly designed tatami space that consists of living space and bedroom. By using the Japanese paper dividers (imitation) creatively, you can achieve both privacy and open space depending on your need.

The kitchen and dining area has a cozy wooden floor, and the shower room and 2 toilets have flooring made of tatami for relaxing home feel.

Akasaka 4F

The apartment, with 45 square meter in space, is a rare-find in center Tokyo. It’s designed to provide modern Japanese-style experience for international guests who need a cozy & modern home in center Tokyo.

The entire apartment is on the 4th floor, filled with natural light & modern Japanese touches. It has a suite bedroom with Serta queen-sized bed and a private toilet with tatami floor. Right by it is a tatami living area that can be flexibly converted into a cozy bedroom for 2-3 adults.

Its bathroom and kitchen are biggest surprises. The bathroom is roomy and equipped with a beautifully carved black stone bathtub and walls, providing a tranquil spot for relaxation. The kitchen is classy and spacious, open to a wooden floor dining area with a long dining table.
